Argument escalated — shouting and threats
After I said I wanted to separate, he shouted at me in the kitchen for around 20 minutes, blocking the doorway. He said 'you'll never see the kids again.' I was very frightened.

Took my bank card
He took my debit card from my bag and refused to give it back for two days, leaving me with no access to money. I had to borrow £20 from a neighbour to buy food for the children.

Pushed me against the wall
After I asked him to leave, he pushed me against the hallway wall with both hands. I hit the back of my head. I went to A&E the next morning.
